Nicce

There’s nothing nicer than taking a stroll around my neighbourhood on the weekend, especially since it’s Notting Hill, AND Christmas is in the air! Simple local walks are anything but ordinary, you know. There’s something so special in celebrating the familiar!

In keeping with that spirit, I’m wearing the softest, palest pink hoodie from Nicce London. Who wouldn’t love this one? It will become a constant. I will wear it as much as I can on the weekends! Worn with the obligatory Converse, skinny jeans and my go to blazer (I tend to grab without blinking),and Voila, I’m ready for Ledbury Rd, Westbourne Grove, and places beyond!!

Nostalgia

Back in the day, this live wire place called Soho used to be my stomping ground. Since then I’ve moved to Stockholm, Los Angeles, the British countryside, Nice and Antibes in France.. phew! Now I’m back in London  with a new outlook on life, new stomping grounds and with a little boy at my side. Soho belongs to my past!! Walking around the narrow  maze like streets, this London village hasn’t changed much really. I instantly recognise the creative bohemian atmosphere that at one time shared the streets with businesses  less savoury. Most of the cafes, and shops I used to go to have now gone, but nonetheless Soho is filled with lingering memories of my teenage years.

Yesterday I was invited to  A London Fashion Week event, and walked through Soho on the way reliving memories. The invitation was a 21 Buttons x TBP Hangout in Covent Garden. Let’s just say it was a room full of cocktails, snacks, goodie bags, and Bloggers! I met many industry people and made new friends. A fun afternoon.

I  decided last minute to wear this  vintage pink turtleneck top I  picked up at Traid , Notting Hill on sale for a ridiculous £2. I just love the pop of  pink color. So on trend.

Sometimes the past brings with it good things. Memories, warm thoughts, a reflection as to who you are now in relation to the past, and oh … a vintage pink turtleneck!

White isn’t just for Summer

September is finally here, bringing with it a change of routine. Mind you I’m not quite ready to ditch the whites just yet (A bit of a rebel I admit) I’m loving the sharp contrast of  wearing white against the backdrop of Fall. It’s an oxymoron isnt it? They say you shouldn’t wear white after  Labour  Day in America, however a little bit of individuality is my signature. Who’s with me?! 😉

Did you notice my earrings? They add just the right amount of sparkle to my look, and they take it up a notch to turn this outfit from day to chic. I was super excited to receive these gorgeous gold swagy hoops from Uno De50 as part of a collab. Im looking forward to wearing these with so many of my next seasons outfits!

Today I’m wearing my white batwing sweatshirt with high waisted jeans, and of course my favoute (baguette) tote by Meli Melo.
