Feeling Fruity

When I saw this dress online It was love at first sight, I just had to have it! I don’t usually wear prints outside of the usual polka-dots, stripes and of course cherries. So citrus was perfect to add to the collection. The ‘Midi’ is also a new thing for me. I’m usually a mini dress kind of girl, but since I recently bought that simple black midi dress from Amazon Find I’ve found myself wanting more! If your a mini kind of girl (like me) then I recommend jumping into the Midi and giving it a go. Who knows you maybe be transformed ūüėČ

I’m wearing this dress casually around the house and barefoot was on the cards for the afternoon! I also tried it with a gold chain belt (seen above) which I adore! This dress would look great styled with some strappy heeled sandals and a little straw bag dontcha think!

A pop of red

A pop of red has to be my fave! Recently I picked up this skirt from & Other Stories. I was quickly sold by its floaty mid length, side slit, and buttons! I wore it with my ‘new in the wardrobe’ silk top by Anthropolgie (which I’m currently obsessed with btw).¬† This skirt would also be ideal worn with a band tee or a tied white blouse. Stick on a bunch of gold, add a straw bag ta daa – Outfit Goals.

I don’t usually talk about my makeup, but recently I was given some items from Nars¬†, with products to try from their collaboration with Erdem. For my lips I used the Poison Rose¬†¬†Lip powder pallet¬†. I fell in love at first try!! All the colors in the pallet are so beautiful! Highlighter and foundation are also Nars, I’ve linked everything for you below!

This is my first blog post in my new house, YAY! If you’ve moved before,¬† then you know it can be super stressful. It doesn’t help when all of us get hit by the flu at the same time! Actually, I move so much, this event should really be second nature by now! We’ve left the busy city of London,¬† for a quieter Surrey. The main reason why we moved was A for more space, and B so Matty could have a garden to play in. Finding both these things in Notting Hill is slim to non!
For today’s blog post I wanted to introduce you to my new classic¬†loafers, by Prof.¬†In my mind, these are an example of chic & classic. I’ve been looking for a perfect yet affordable loafer for a while now, and so happy I’ve discovered these. Made in Italy with its over-sized gold chain makes these babies super chic! I’ve paired them with a classic strapless black jumpsuit¬†and an over-sized straw hat!¬† Why have I not had such a classic shoe in my wardrobe until now?!!

Current Fave’s Round-up

I’ve put together some inspiration of my spring/summer current faves. Here’s a round up of my top looks for this season!

1: Berets paired with summer dresses

If you have been following me on social then you know I’m beret obsessed! Nothing beats a beret, it gives off that chic look to pretty much any outfit! Actually for me it completes the outfit. I just love the way these gals have paired the notoriously winter hat for the summer. So dont pack your wool berets just yet, you can still rock them for another season!!

2 broderie anglaise, ruffles, and lace up

Im a complete sucker for ruffles, broderie anglaise, and lace up. I recently received a dress by Tobi (HERE) which reminds me of these above photos. I need to up my tanning game as currently I am as white as these crisp fabrics. The bronzed look and these feminine beauties, make me go gaga!

3: Mid length skirts

Ive never been a big fan of midi, but this season I’ll be adding a few of these babies into my wardrobe! Jeanne Damas is always the inspo. She wears them so good, and I love how she paired her midi skirt with a tight cardi… (buying now!)

4 Straw Hats

Nothing says “Summer” like a straw hat. Im a mega hat person, and actually feel much better when I have something on my head! I’ve found a few seriously cute options which I’ve linked below.

5: Button down tops

Here’s a spring/summer wardrobe staple. I LOVE big buttons right now, they give that ‘Extra’ to that basic top! Again, can we just look at that bronzed tan… Honestly If I get one of those this summer it will be a miracle. If your a city Mom, without a garden, and have a wild 4 year old you will understand! *Brings out the fake tan*

6: Cherry everything

As far back as I can remember I’ve been a sucker for cherries! I can remember my first day at 8th grade I wore a Forever 21 tight top with ruched shoulders and cherries. I still think about that top, and wish I still had it. So glad to see cherries in the stores right now, and hoping ill find my replica 8th grade top! BTW & other stories has a blouse just like this one!
