If you follow me on Instagram you would have seen that I had a lovely day out in London with TBP! In case you’re wondering what TBP is, it’s short for “The Blogger Program” which is an Influencer marketing platform. They enable bloggers worldwide to find, connect, & collaborate with different brands for campaigns. I’ve worked on a few different campaigns with TBP before and as a thank you they invited me to The House of Elemis for a facial! Following the pamper I went as their guest to the Avenue Restaurant in Mayfair for a 3 course lunch. Sounds like bliss doesnt it? Well is was! 😉
My initial appointment was at the House of Elemis. I was very excited about this as I just LOVE their products, and it gave me the chance to explore their line further. I was welcomed with a lovely cup of Rose tea followed be an in depth chat all about my skin. They have a unique machine which takes a photo of your skin magnified and it has the ability to assess what areas need more help! My warm and friendly therapist Sophie advised me on the Biotech Radiance Renew facial. She went though every step with me and asked me if it sounded okay. Okay was an understatement , it sounded amazing!!
Sophie then took me to my therapy room. She had me change into a soft robe which was hanging in a little wardrobe. She started the process on my skin which was a wonderful experience. It was VERY soothing indeed, especially the neck and shoulder massage! After my therapist finished removing all the dead skin with a simulator, and using the Biotech ion machine with all the amazing fragrant Elemis products she told me I was finished. My skin felt transformed, SO baby soft. I felt glowing. Sophie left me to change. When I came upstairs there was a smoothie shot, and a glass of champagne waiting for me. I didn’t drink much of the champagne because I was so hungry. I was looking forward to our next location at Avenue restaurant in Mayfair!
The food and the wine, and atmosphere at Avenue was perfect. I will be dreaming about that Sea Bream with bok choy for a while! Thank you so much TBP for such a lovely day out!
Today my parents and I took Matty to a little farm in the countryside not far from where we live. It was so cute for him to see up close chickens, pigs, goats , a tortoise named Victor and all sorts of animals and birds! He loved it, I on the other hand.. well let’s just say I spent most my time taking cover – running from wandering uncaged chickens and huge birds which all seemed to be targeting me. No joke, I did everything to avoid them, and yet they were horrifyingly underfoot with their beady eyes and feathers. I took hold of the stroller and used it as a shield hiding behind it for protection. Matty asked to use the bathroom, a simple request, however as we got close to the WC I saw a MASSIVE peacock in front of the restroom making it impossible to pass, as if it was guarding the door. Drenching from a cold sweat I went on a search for an employee who eventually had to shoo the huge bird away so we could safety use the loo. Matty found it hysterical, I’m not sure if it was the bird or my reaction which amused him more.
Once we made it past the projectile spitting alpacas, the pig enclosure, and the goats, we found ourselves surrounded by pure bliss. No large animals in sight only several connecting quiet lakes covered in Lilly pads and edged with Weeping Willows. We took a long walk around the lakes finishing off at a small playground for Matty. The walk in fresh air made us hungry and we left to search for a country pub. We found a great one and It was love at first sight and the fact that it served the best Nachos I’ve ever had was a big plus!
Back home now and in my Pj’s with a satisfied happy little boy by my side, and this city girl is gradually making room for the country life!
Welcome to the magical VilleFranche-Sur-Mer! Today we celebrated the resurrection of Jesus and it couldn’t of been in a more beautiful place. We had lunch next to the water surrounded by brightly colored buildings on one side and little boats on the other. Matty was obsessed with feeding the fish, so we copied the fishermen and gave them a bunch of french fries. I’m pretty sure they loved them!
Today I wore a new top from Pull & Bear, with my basic ripped vintage Levis shorts. My glasses are vintage and I found them in a Vide Grenier (Flea market) for 1.00 euro!! Have I told you how much I love finding deals 😉
I hope you enjoyed my photos from Ville Franche as much as I enjoyed being there!!!
We started off at the Cannes Gare SNCF aka train station. I saw this awesome 60’s billboard I just had to snap it. Behind me you can get a glimpse of the station! The sweater I’m wearing here is from the Zara sale 40% off! I just love the scalloped edge, go grab one before its gone!!
Theres so many fun things too look at in Cannes! I just love this chocolate shop window, just look at the lipstick chocolates!! <3
Next stop which is ALWAYS on my list when I come here is Steak and Shake! See it there on the left? Best spot and makes me feel like I’m in LA again having a burger and milkshake 🙂
It was very sunny yesterday so I decided to brave it and wear shorts, I paired it with this amazing vintage blouse I found at the flea market last weekend! I love this blouse, the lace and ruffle is so perfect!!

The not so glamorous life of an ordinary Wednesday! Today was just a normal day full of small errands and a super market shop. But no matter how uneventful my day is, I ALWAYS get ready for it. I mean why dress boring because you know your day is boring? I think putting thought to my daily preparation matters and sets the day off in a positive direction. I tend to anticipate my ‘good’ day in advance by getting ready for it , and then I’m prepared for whatever life throws at me! I never know who I’ll meet or run into, or if I will suddenly find myself in the uncomfortable situation with my toddler having tantrum in the street!
So here’s some pics on my way to and from the Super Market! I live very local to everything so I walk everywhere, normally I bring a rolling trolley ( they call them chariot here) to the maket but today I just used Matty’s stroller. We walked by a kids clothing store giving out balloons , so Matty was super happy with his balloon and lolly pop while walking to the park today. This old French seaside town is full of pretty streets so walking around on a spring like day is a joy!
